Are you going to Zambia on Business? I’m sure you won’t have time to head up to Victoria Falls then. If you do happen to have some spare time during your trip, be sure to check it out. It is one of my most awesome travel experiences ever!
Ok, on to the business visa for Zambia. As mentioned here at the Zambia Department of Immigration, a business visa is issued to nationals coming to Zambia to attend meetings, conferences, arranging of business transactions and the signing of contracts and includes. This type of visa will give you up to thirty (30) days in the country within a period of twelve (12) months.
There are two categories of business people who enter Zambia:
- Business people that can get a visa upon entry.
- Business people that must get a referral before entering the country.
(Go to my Zambia visa page for information on other types of visas for Zambia.)
I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Zambia Business Visa.
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Zambia: No.
- A single-entry visa can be obtained at the port of entry.
- You are going to need to apply in advance at a Zambian Embassy or consulate for a multiple-entry visa.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Zambia:
- If you are on this list, you DO NOT need to get a visa in order to enter Zambia.
- If you are on this list, you will need to get a Referred Visa in order to get into Zambia.
- If you’re inside the U.S., click here.
- If you’re outside of the U.S.: Click here.
You need to check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what documents are required for you. They should look a lot like what is stated on this page at the Embassy of Zambia in Washington D.C.
- Visa fees might vary depending on where you apply, so go to the website of the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1.
- If you are applying in the U.S., the latest visa fees are listed here.
- Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1.
- Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate. Check the submission instructions at the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Zambia will give to you your brand new Zambia visa.
