Russia Humanitarian Visa
Going to Russia for humanitarian purposes? The Russia Humanitarian visa can be issued for the foreigner traveling to Russia with sport, cultural, scientific-technical, public, religion, charity or humanitarian purposes.
If you are applying from the United States, submit your visa application to Invisa Logistic Services, the company that the Embassy of Russia in Washington D.C. has outsourced visa processing to.
If you are applying from outside the United States, you can get your visa processed at any Russian embassy or consulate.
The biggest hurdle for getting the Russia Humanitarian visa is to secure an official invitation letter from the Russian Federal Migration Office, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the associated regional offices.

- If you plan to spend more than seven days in Russia, you need to register your visa and migration card (which you will get upon arrival to Russia) through your sponsor or landlord.
