If you are going to the Philippines for a short trip, you might need to get a Temporary Visitor Visa depending on what country you are from. The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines defines temporary visitors as those people coming to the Philippines for legitimate, nonimmigrant purposes such as sightseeing, sports, health, family reasons, training or study (excluding enrollment in schools for the purpose of obtaining a title or degree), religious pilgrimage, business, cultural and scientific purposes.
Go to my Philippines visa page for information on other types of visas for the Philippines.
I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Philippines Temporary Visitor Visa.
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Philippines: No.
