Got a business trip planned for Oman? You are going to need to get a Business Visa depending on what country you are from.
(Go to my Oman visa page for information on other types of visas for Oman.)
I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Oman Business Visa.
- Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Oman: No.
- U.S. citizens may obtain a 30-day visa by presenting their U.S. passports on arrival at all Oman land, sea, and air entry points.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Oman:
- If you are on this list at the website of the Royal Oman Police, you are eligible for a short visit visa on arrival. Otherwise, you need to apply for a visa before you go to Oman.
If you’re inside the U.S.:
Embassy of The Sultanate of Oman in Washington D.C.
If you’re outside of the U.S.: Click here.
The official list of required documents is here at the website of the Oman Police, but you should definitely check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what is required for you.
Also, here is the official application form, brought to you by none other than our friends at the Royal Oman Police.
- Official visa fees are posted here.
- Go to the website of the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1 in order to find out the latest fees that apply to you (fees may vary depending on where you apply and taking into account currency exchange differences from place to place).
- Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate. I recommend you check the submission instructions at the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
The Embassy or Consulate of Oman will give to you your brand new Oman visa.
Don’t get sick! Check vaccination requirements here.
