Are you going on a business trip to Morocco? You might need to get a Business Visa for Morocco.
Go to my Morocco visa page for information on other types of visas for Morocco.
I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Morocco Business Visa.
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Morocco: No.
- Visas are not required for U.S. citizen tourists traveling to Morocco for fewer than 90 days.
- For visits of more than 90 days, U.S. citizens are required to apply for an extension of stay (providing a reason for the extension) and should do so as far in advance as possible.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Morocco:
- This page here at the Morocco Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows countries that do not need a visa in order to enter Morocco.
If you’re inside the U.S.:
Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco
Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in New York
If you’re outside of the U.S.: Check this page here.
You will have to go to the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1, to find the required documents that apply to you for this type of visa. The required documents should look a lot like what is posted here at the Consulate General of Morocco website. Here is the quick and dirty list.
- A visa application form duly filled out in capital letters and signed
- Original passport (valid for over 6 months at the entry date)
- Copy of the original passport (Pages 1-3)
- Two passport size color photos with white background
- Copy of the invitation letter issued by the company you are planning to visit in Morocco
- Copy of the plane tickets or of the confirmed reservation
- The visa fee will be posted on the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
- If you are applying in the United States, see the latest fees here as posted on the Consulate General of Morocco website.
- Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
- Each embassy and consulate will have different submission rules, so you will need to go to the website you found in Step 1 to find out the in-person or by-mail submission instructions.
Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Morocco will give to you your brand new Morocco visa.
