The Marshall Islands Tourist Visa is for tourists and visitors intending to stay in the Republic for up to 90 days. The process for getting a visa for the Marshall Islands is pretty easy. For U.S. Citizens, you don’t even need to get one (probably because of our years and years of involvement in this part of the world).
For information on other types of Marshall Islands visas, go to my Marshall Islands visa page.
- Visa required for U.S. citizens: No. Members of the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau are also exempt from the visa requirement.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: Visas are available upon arrival for citizens of Pacific Islands Forum countries including Australia and New Zealand, Canada, the European Union, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
- Citizens of all other countries not in the bullet point above will need to obtain an entry visa before traveling to the Marshall Islands. SEE STEPS in this document on what you need for a Marshall Islands tourist visa before arrival.
