Ireland Transit Visa
Are you traveling through Ireland en route to another country? As stated here, nationals of the following states or territorial entities are required to be in possession of a valid Irish transit visa when arriving at a port in the State for purposes of passing through the port in order to travel to another state.
- Afghanistan
- Albania
- Cuba
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Eritrea
- Ethiopia
- Ghana
- Iran
- Iraq
- Lebanon
- Moldova
- Montenegro
- Nigeria
- Serbia
- Somalia
- Sri Lanka
- Zimbabwe
If you are a citizen of one of the countries above and decide that you want to leave the port at any time during your trip, you are going to need to apply for the Short Stay Visit Visa for Ireland.

- Good practice is to go to the website of your embassy or consulate to confirm the fee amounts as they are always subject to change. You can always call them too if possible.

- Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
