Djibouti Diplomatic and Official Visa
While you can get a Djibouti visa on arrival (if travelling by air) at the Ambouli Airport, you can also get the Djibouti Diplomatic Visa in advance from your closest consulate or Embassy. If you are in Djibouti, you might want to hop over the Red Sea as well and check out Yemen.
Below I will describe how to get a diplomatic visa for Djibouti.
Visa required for U.S. citizens travelling to Djibouti: Yes. Your passport, visa, and yellow fever card are required. You can also get a visa on arrival (if travelling by air) at the Ambouli Airport.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: Yes. If you are not a Djibouti national, you will need to get a visa.
