Croatia Airport Transit Visa
Going through Croatia en route to another country? You might need to get an Airport Transit Visa for Croatia.
By way of derogation from that rule, the Croatian Government may stipulate that nationals of certain countries and holders of travel document issued by authorities of such countries shall require an airport-transit visa.
This visa is issued for one, two or several transits through the airport international transit area, with validity period of up to 6 months.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Airport Transit Visa for Croatia
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Croatia: No. You don’t need a visa if you are a U.S. passport holder coming for tourist or business trips of fewer than 90 days within a six-month period. Visit the Embassy of Croatia website for the most current visa information.
U.S. citizens already in Croatia who wish to remain in Croatia for more than 90 days must obtain a temporary residence permit. Please note that the first temporary stay permit must be obtained from the Croatian Embassy or Consulate in the United States.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Croatia: If your country is listed under “Article 2” at this site here, you do not need to get a visa for Croatia.
If your country is listed under “Article 4” at this site here, you are required to get a visa for Croatia.

There will most definitely be a visa fee. Check your consulate or embassy’s website for the latest fee and payment method.

Send your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to your embassy or consulate.
In most cases, you can apply either by mail or in person. If you apply by mail, be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
