Belize General Information and Eligibility

- Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Belize: No.
- No visas are required for citizens of the United States for visits of up to 30 days, but you must have onward or return air tickets and proof of sufficient funds to maintain yourself in Belize (i.e. latest bank statement)
- Belize allows visitors a maximum of one month’s stay in the country before they require an extension obtained through the Belize Ministry of Defense and Immigration.
- No specific immunizations are required for visitors to Belize.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Belize:
- Nationals of the following countries do NOT require a visa to enter Belize for stays of up to 30 days.
- Nationals of all other countries REQUIRE a visa to enter Belize.
