The Belgium Schengen Short Stay Visa (type C) is for foreigners who are going to Belgium for a total period not exceeding 3 months over a period of 6 months from the date of first entry. It is the most popular type of visa and ideal if you are going to Belgium for tourism or business purposes.

Visa required for U.S. citizens: No. Belgium is a party to the Schengen Agreement, so U.S. citizens may enter Belgium for up to 90 days in any 180-day period for tourist or business purposes
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: If you are not a U.S. citizen, if your name is NOT on this list, you NEED a Schengen visa to enter Belgium…
