Aruba Visitor Visa

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Aruba Visitor Visa.
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Aruba: No.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Aruba: If you are on this list, you need to get a visa to visit Aruba. If you need a visa to travel to Aruba, you can get one at an embassy or consulate of the Netherlands.

- The official list of required documents if you are applying from North America or the Caribbean is posted here. Go to the section that says “Mandatory Documents.” Gather the documents that apply to the Visitor Visa for Aruba.
- The main difference with this visa is that you will need to submit an official invitation letter issued and certified by a City Hall on the respective island and a copy of the relatives’ or friends’ Dutch passport or valid Dutch residence card. If they are paying for your expenses, proof of financial means is required from your reference person on the respective island (3 recent monthly salary statements and 3 recent monthly bank statements).
- If you are not applying from within North America or the Caribbean, go to the website of your consulate from Step 1 above.
- Go to your consulate or embassy website (see step 1) for the latest fees.
- Submit your materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the consulate or embassy.
- All Dutch diplomatic missions require visitors to schedule an appointment via the Dutch appointment system to apply in person.
- If you are not applying from within North America or the Caribbean, go to step 1 to find your consulate or embassy website.
Congratulations! You will soon get your Aruba visa!
Processing time for visa applications can vary widely.
If you want to stay longer than the days you were granted on your visa, you can apply at the office of DIMAS for an extension.
