Albania Airport Transfer Visa Type B

Albania classifies their visas according to how long you’ll stay in Albania and the reasons why.  This type of visa is for someone who is switching planes inside of Albania and isn’t going to be in the country for no more than 5 days.

Gather Documentation

One of the best lists is at this site.  Be sure to go there and gather all of the documentation you’ll need.

Pay Visa Fees
  • If you’re applying in the United States, remember that the Washington D.C. consulate is the hub for people applying for visas for Albania.  Be sure to double check with the consulate in Washington D.C at this site here to see what the latest visa fee is for your type of visa.

Translate Your Documents
  • This is a tricky step!  All the documents submitted visa must be translated in Albanian and certified by a relevant authority.
  • If you are applying in the United States, you can contact the Washington D.C. consulate for both translation and certification services.  If they don’t provide these anymore, then they should be able to point you somewhere where this can be done.

Submit your documents
  • Once everything is ready, submit your documents to the consulate.
  • If you are applying in the United States, contact the Washington D.C. consulate for submission instructions as you might have to apply in person.

Receive Visa

Congratulations!  The Albanian Consulate/Embassy will give to you your brand new Albanian visa via mail or in person!
