Who Can Apply?
- This type of visa is for foreigners who hold service or special passports.
How to Apply?
There are only 3 consulates in the United States where you can apply for an Afghanistan visa. I recommend applying to the consulate closest to you in order to get your visa faster (but not required from the information I’ve seen as at the time of this writing).
Choose 1 of the 3 consulates below:
- Find your nearest embassy or consulate here.
- Gather the required documents as stated here at the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Also, be sure to check the embassy or consulate that you found above as documents (and fees) might vary from place to place.
- Submit your materials to the consulate or embassy. Note that each embassy or consulate will have different submission instructions. Follow the instructions carefully so that your application is not rejected.
- After some time of waiting, you will get your visa.
