Ireland Long Stay Family Visa
The Long Stay Family Visa for Ireland is the kind of visa that you need if you want to go to Ireland to stay with relatives (for periods of longer than 90 days).
As stated at the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service website, the processing times for visa applications will depend largely on the number of applications that have been lodged and how long it takes for your application to get to the Visa Section in Dublin from the Embassy (or Consulate) where you filed your application.
Make sure you give yourself ample time for this type of visa (8 weeks at a minimum).

- Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.

- Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Ireland will give to you your brand new Ireland visa.
- Visa decisions are published weekly on the Immigration Service website here. You can check a decision by entering the Visa Reference Number that issued to you.
