I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Diplomatic or Official Visa for Thailand.
- If you’re inside the U.S., you’ve got the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington D.C., the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chicago, IL, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Los Angeles, CA, and the Royal Thai Consulate General in New York.
- If you’re outside of the U.S.: Click here.
- Go to the website of the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1 to find out what documents are required as they can vary from place to place.
- The best and most organized list of required documents is at the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, Canada.
These kinds of visas are usually free, but double check your visa fee at the Embassy or Consulate Website you found in Step 1.
Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the Embassy or Consulate General you found in Step 1.
Congratulations! You will receive your Thailand visa.
