Cape Verde General Information and Eligibility

- Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Cape Verde: Yes, a U.S. passport and a Cape Verdean visa are required.
- Two types of visas are available: a single-entry visa valid for up to 90 days or a multiple-entry visa valid for five years.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens:
- All foreign nationals except citizens of ECOWAS countries, Angola, and South Africa must obtain a visa to enter Cape Verde.
