A lot of people often confuse this Congo with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (a.k.a. Congo-Kinshasa) which is a completely different country that lies to the east. The Republic of the Congo (ROC) is often known as Congo or Congo-Brazzaville and is the smaller of the two Congoes.
Below I will describe how to get a tourist visa for the Congo.
Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Congo: Yes. U.S. Citizens require a passport, visa, and evidence of yellow fever vaccination for entry.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: Visas are required by anyone not from the Congo.
