Gabon Transit Visa
Are you transiting through Gabon on your way to somewhere else? You will need to get a transit visa. I personally do not recommend this route, and actually recommend that you get the Tourist Visa for Gabon given that the hassle is the same for both visa types. The benefit of getting the Tourist Visa for Gabon though is that it will be valid for up to 5 years for multiple entries (if you are a U.S. citizen).
Probably the biggest hurdle for getting the Transit Visa for Gabon is that you will need to get a visa to your onward destination FIRST.

Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to the Gabon: Yes, you can get a visa for multiple entries valid for 5 years.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: Passport holders from all countries except South Africa need to get a visa for Gabon.

For those applying in the United States, the official list is here at the New York Consulate of Gabon. There are some discrepancies though with the information provided on the Embassy of Gabon in Washington DC website.
The visa fee will vary depending on your nationality and where you are applying. Check the website of the embassy or consulate you found up above for your latest fees.
Submit your required materials from Step 2 and your visa fee from Step 3 to the consulate you found in Step 1.
Congratulations! Just sit back and wait for your passport and visa to be returned to you.
