Chad Business Visa
Getting a Chad Business Visa is not all that difficult. The main difference between getting the Chad Business Visa and the Chad Tourist Visa is that you have to present a letter from your employer. I recommend you make sure that this letter is on your employer’s stationary. I’ll show you how to get this type of visa below.
- Visa required for U.S. citizens: Yes.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: All foreigners need to get a visa in order to enter Chad, EXCEPT those people from Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cameroon, Republic of Central Africa, Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal.

- If you’re inside the U.S.: The consulate you will have to use is located in Washington D.C.

Submit your required materials from Step 2 and the visa fee from Step 3 to the consulate you found in Step 1.
Congratulations! The Embassy of Chad will give to you your brand new Chad visa.
- Register with the Local Police Office within 3 days of your arrival
- You must register with the local police within 72 hours of your arrival in Chad if this is your first time in the country on your current passport.
- Be sure to bring 3 passport photos with you and your passport.
