Togo Business Visa
Getting a business visa to go to Togo is pretty much the same process as getting the Togo Tourist Visa except for the fact that you will require a letter from your company. I highly recommend you get your visa before you travel to Togo for two reasons.
- When you arrive in Lomé after a very long flight, do you really want to stand in a long line to wait for your visa?
- You can stay in Togo for 3 months instead of 7 days. Therefore, if you fall in love with Togo, and want to stay longer, you don’t have to make the trek over to the Direction Générale de la Documentation Nationale in Lomé in the northern part of the city (Tel (country code: 228) 2250 78 56) to apply for an extension.
Nevertheless, if you want to get visa on arrival, you can still do it. Also, if you want to extend your visa after those 7 days, you can do that too. Full details on that process are here.
Below I will explain how to get a business visa for Togo BEFORE you arrive.

Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Togo: Yes.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: If you are on this list here then you need to get a visa (note the page is in French, so you can use Google Translate to convert it into English).
You will need to go to the website of the embassy or consulate you found in step 1 to see what the exact required forms are that you need. They should look a lot like what is presented at the Embassy website.
Mail the information that you gathered in Step 2 to the consulate that you located in Step 1.
Processing time is normally 5 business days.
That’s it! After a period of waiting, the Togo Embassy will give to you your brand new visa for Togo.
