Afghanistan Transit Visa
Who Can Apply?
- A transit visa for Afghanistan is for foreigners who pass through Afghanistan to a third country. The validity of this type of visa is for 72 hours for air passengers’ and six days for those who travel by land.
How to Apply?
There are only 3 consulates in the United States where you can apply for an Afghanistan visa. I recommend applying to the consulate closest to you in order to get your visa faster (but not required from the information I’ve seen as at the time of this writing).
Choose 1 of the 3 consulates below:
- Find your nearest embassy or consulate here.
- Submit your materials to the consulate or embassy. Note that each embassy or consulate will have different submission instructions. Follow the instructions carefully so that your application is not rejected.
- After some time of waiting, you will get your visa.
