Who Can Apply?
- Ok, so you want to work in Afghanistan? Well, you are going to need a heavy dose of patience because the process is not easy. You would have an easier time finding a spot working in Afghanistan by joining the military!
- But if you must work in Afghanistan for some sort of reason, know that an entry visa for work permit is issued for business, economic, commercial, cultural, industrial purposes and for those people working for the governmental or non governmental organizations.
- There are some areas opening up in security and construction, so you may have a shot finding a job with a company in one of these industries.
How to Apply?
There are 3 consulates in the United States where you can apply for an Afghanistan visa. I recommend applying to the consulate closest to you in order to get your visa faster (but not required from the information I’ve seen as at the time of this writing).
Choose 1 of the 3 consulates below:
- Find your nearest embassy or consulate here.
- Submit your materials to the consulate or embassy. Note that each embassy or consulate will have different submission instructions. Follow the instructions carefully so that your application is not rejected.
- After some time of waiting, you will get your visa.
