Nicaragua Visitor Visa
Are you going to Nicaragua on vacation/holiday or a short business trip? You might need to secure a visitor (i.e. tourist or business) visa before you go depending on where you are from.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Nicaragua Visitor Visa.
- Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Nicaragua: No.
- U.S. citizens do not need a visa.
- A tourist card must be purchased upon arrival. While the entry stamp for standard tourist visits is typically valid for 30 to 90 days, illegal presence only begins to accumulate after 90 days. Visitors remaining more than the authorized period must obtain an extension from Nicaraguan Immigration.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Nicaragua:

Check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what is required for you.
