Tunisia Visitor Visa
Are you heading to Tunisia either as a tourist or for business? If so, you might need to get a Visitor Visa depending on what country you are from.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Tunisia Visitor Visa.
- Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Tunisia: No.
- For U.S. passport holders, a visa is not necessary for stays of up to four months; however, a residence permit is needed for longer stays. The residence permit can be obtained from the central police station of the district of residence. U.S. citizens born in the Middle East or with Arabic names have experienced delays in clearing immigration upon arrival.
- Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Tunisia:
- Check the application on this page to see if you need to get a visa for Tunisia.
- If you’re inside the U.S: You have the Embassy of Tunisia in Washington, D.C.
- If you’re outside of the U.S.: Click here.
- To my knowledge, Tunisia doesn’t have a centralized location where they post the requirements for the Visitor Visa. You can check out the list located on the application form here for the sorts of things required for the visitor visa for Tunisia. Definitely check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what is required for you.
- Visa fees might vary depending on where you apply, so go to the website of the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1.
- Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate and embassy to embassy, so you will need to check the submission instructions at the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Tunisia will give to you your brand new Tunisia visa.
