If you are planning on going to Slovenia for up to 90 days, you might need to get a Short Stay Visa (i.e. Schengen Visa Type C) for Slovenia. In general, with the Schengen Visa, you are free to roam the Schengen Territory as you wish. However, if you plan on spending most of your allotted 90 days in Slovenia, it is advised that you apply for the Schengen Visa at the Slovenia Embassy or Consulate.
The top reasons for getting the Short Stay Visa for Slovenia include tourism, business, personal visit with relatives, or transit.
