If you are planning to visit Poland for more than 90 days (at least 91 days) during one or more visits within a 180-day period calculated from the date of first entry, you need to apply for a National Visa for Poland (D-type).
The Poland National Visa will enable you to do the following:
- Stay in the territory of Poland throughout the period of its validity
- Move within the territory of other Schengen states for up to three months within a 180-day period.

The official list of required documents is listed here at the Poland Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. However, you should definitely check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above.
- If you are in the United States, you can find your required documents here.
- Visa fees might vary depending on where you apply, so go to the website of the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1.
- If you are applying in the U.S., the latest visa fees are listed here.
- Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the Embassy or Consulate you found in Step 1.
- Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate.
Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Poland will give to you your brand new Poland visa.
