  • Visa required for U.S. citizens:  Yes.
    • Tourist visas cannot be extended in Uzbekistan and require you to reside at hotels rather than private residences during your stay in the country.
  • Visa required for non-U.S. citizens:  All foreigners except citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, are required to have business or tourist visas to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan.
    • Tourist visas cannot be extended in Uzbekistan and require you to reside at hotels rather than private residences during your stay in the country.
