Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Suriname: Yes, but if you are just going for a quick tourist visit, you can get a Tourist Card at the airport on arrival (Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport) for $25.

Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: The list at this page here lists people who do not need a visa for going to Suriname.

If you want to get a Transit Visa (valid for 3 days), first find your nearest consulate.

Gather documentation

Visa fee

For U.S. passport holders, double check here to see the latest fee.

Submit materials

Send the information you gathered in Step 2 and the Visa Fee in Step 3 to the embassy/consulate you found in Step 1.

Wait for approval

Should take 5 business days or so to get your visa.

Receive visa
