How to Get a Brazil Tourist Visa at the Los Angeles Consulate

Brazil Tourist Visa Los Angeles Consulate

Brazil Tourist Visa Los Angeles Consulate

The Brazilian visa system is complicated. Each consulate serves a particular region. Make sure you’re going to the right one before you begin, because they’re all different! The Los Angeles Consulate serves people residing in Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and in California, the counties of Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

Brazil also has strict limits on the amount of time you can stay in the country. All Tourist Visa holders may only stay in Brazil for up to 90 days, regardless of nationality or the length of time that the Visa is given for.  You can extend the 90 days by going to the Federal Police in Brazil.  They can give you an additional 90 days on your visa (180 day per year maximum).
