Brazil Tourist Visa DC Consulate
The Washington D.C. Consulate serves people residing in Washington D.C., Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and North American bases – except Guam.
All Brazil Tourist Visa holders may only stay in Brazil for up to 90 days, regardless of nationality or the length of time that the Visa is given for. You can extend the 90 days by going to the Federal Police in Brazil. They can give you an additional 90 days on your visa (180 day per year maximum).

Parents or guardians of applicants under the age of 18 must also provide a notarized letter of consent as well as a copy of the birth certificate. Here is the template for the letter of consent.
