The New York Consulate serves the States of Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the Bermuda Islands

All Temporary Visa holders may only stay in Brazil for up to 90 days, regardless of nationality or the length of time that the Visa is given for.  You can extend the 90 days by going to the Federal Police in Brazil.  They can give you an additional 90 days on your visa (180 day per year maximum).

Get the Required Documents

Go to this site and gather all of the required documentation in the “General Requirements” section and “Additional Requirements” section.

Visa Fee

Check to see that you have gotten a USPS (United States Postal Service) money order in the correct amount.

Submit Materials

Submit your materials to the New York Consulate.
