The Los Angeles Consulate serves the States of Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and in California the counties of Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

Validity of Business Visa – Vitem II

  • Duration of stay in Brazil is 90 days.  Extension for a further same period may be requested at the Brazilian Federal Police before the visa expires and authorized at their discretion.
  • Under no circumstances, visitors can remain in Brazil longer than 180 days in any twelve-month (12) period counted from the day of first entry in Brazil.

Get the Required Documents

Go to the Los Angeles Brazilian Consulate site and gather all of the required documentation. Be sure to check the page for any special cases that you may have.

Visa Fee

Check to see that you have gotten a USPS (United States Postal Service) money order in the correct amount.

Submit Materials

Minors (under 18 years of age)
  • Provide original birth certificate;
  • A notarized letter of consent signed by both parents. The Consulate will legalize the signature of the notary public.

  • The Brazilian Consulate will give to you your brand new Brazilian Visa.
