Brazil Business Visa Atlanta Consulate
The Atlanta Consulate serves the states of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Validity of Business Visa – Vitem II
- Duration of stay in Brazil is 90 days. Extension for a further same period may be requested at the Brazilian Federal Police before the visa expires and authorized at their discretion.
- Under no circumstances, visitors can remain in Brazil longer than 180 days in any twelve-month (12) period counted from the day of first entry in Brazil.
Go to the Atlanta Brazilian Consulate site and gather all of the required documentation. Be sure to check the page for any special cases that you may have.
- Check to see that you have gotten a USPS (United States Postal Service) money order in the correct amount.

Submit your materials to the Atlanta Consulate.
Check the status of your visa at this website.
- If the status is “pending”, is has not been processed yet.
- If the status is “no application pending”, the visa has been processed.
The Brazilian Consulate will give to you your brand new Brazilian Visa.
